Mailchimp CRM Integration
Sync your Mailchimp audience and campaign engagement with MapleConnect — or skip the second tool and use MapleConnect’s built-in email marketing.
MapleConnect connects to Mailchimp through our Zapier app or directly via the REST API — there is no native, one-click Mailchimp connector, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Both methods let you keep contacts and consent in sync between the two systems.
Once connected, new MapleConnect leads flow into a Mailchimp audience, and subscribe, unsubscribe, open, and click activity flows back onto the CRM record so your follow-up stays accurate.
And because MapleConnect already includes built-in email marketing alongside CRM, AI voice, SMS, and booking, you can also choose to consolidate — run your campaigns natively instead of paying for a separate email tool.
Once Mailchimp is connected
Push new leads into Mailchimp
When a contact is created in MapleConnect — from a form, a booking, or an inbound call — Zapier adds or updates them in the right Mailchimp audience automatically, so list-building never relies on manual exports.
Keep consent and opt-outs in sync
Mailchimp subscribe and unsubscribe events flow back to the matching MapleConnect contact, so marketing consent and suppression status stay accurate in the CRM record you actually work from.
Log campaign engagement on the timeline
Opens and clicks from Mailchimp campaigns and automations can post to the contact’s MapleConnect timeline as tags or notes, feeding lead scoring and giving reps context before they reach out.
Segment by pipeline stage
A stage change or tag in MapleConnect can add or remove someone from a Mailchimp audience or segment, so people get the right campaign for where they actually are in your pipeline.
Trigger cross-channel follow-up
When a contact clicks a Mailchimp link, MapleConnect can fire an AI voice call, an SMS, or a task — the kind of cross-channel response email alone can’t do.
How to connect Mailchimp to MapleConnect
- 01
Connect both apps in Zapier
Create or open a Zapier account, then add the MapleConnect app and the Mailchimp app. Authorize each with your account credentials so Zapier can read and write to both.
- 02
Choose a trigger and action
Pick the pair you need — for example, trigger “New contact in MapleConnect” with action “Add/update subscriber in Mailchimp,” or the reverse to bring Mailchimp signups into the CRM.
- 03
Map fields and turn it on
Map email, name, tags, and marketing-consent fields between the two systems, send a test record to confirm it lands correctly, then switch the Zap on to run automatically.
- 04
Or build directly on the REST API
Developers can skip Zapier and wire the MapleConnect REST API to the Mailchimp Marketing API for custom, higher-volume, or true two-way sync logic under your own control.
