Shopify CRM Integration

Sync your Shopify customers and orders into MapleConnect, then turn every sale into automated SMS and email follow-up — abandoned-cart recovery, post-purchase sequences, and VIP win-backs.

SHOPIFY → MAPLECONNECTShShopifyMapleConnectAutomations

Shopify is a great store, but it isn’t a CRM. It holds customers, orders, and checkouts — yet it has no segmentation, no sales pipeline, and no automated multi-channel follow-up. That’s the layer MapleConnect adds.

You connect Shopify to MapleConnect through Zapier (or our REST API), so new customers and orders flow straight into the CRM. From there, MapleConnect runs the follow-up Shopify can’t: abandoned-cart nudges, thank-you and review sequences, and reactivation campaigns by SMS and email.

This is a Zapier/API integration, not a native one — and it works in minutes. Shopify stays your store of record for products, checkout, and payments; MapleConnect becomes the customer-relationship and follow-up engine wrapped around it.

What you can do

Once Shopify is connected

New order → contact + post-purchase sequence

When an order is placed in Shopify, MapleConnect creates or updates the contact and kicks off a thank-you → review-request → cross-sell sequence by SMS and email — no manual export, no spreadsheet.

Abandoned-cart SMS and email recovery

When Shopify reports an abandoned checkout, fire a timed SMS and email nudge from MapleConnect to win the sale back. (Cart-event availability depends on your Shopify plan and what Zapier exposes.)

VIP and repeat-buyer segmenting

Tag contacts automatically by order count or total spend, so your highest-value buyers get dedicated campaigns, early access, and loyalty offers — while one-time shoppers get a different track.

Lapsed-customer reactivation

No order in the last N days? Enroll the customer in a reactivation flow with built-in email and SMS — and an optional AI voice call — to bring them back before they forget your brand.

Unify store data with every other channel

Every Shopify customer lands on one timeline alongside calls, chats, bookings, and form fills — so support and marketing finally see the full picture instead of just order history.

How to connect Shopify to MapleConnect

  1. 01

    Add both apps in Zapier

Create a Zapier account, then search for the MapleConnect app and the Shopify app inside Zapier to start a new Zap.

  2. 02

    Choose a trigger and action

Pick a pair such as “New Order in Shopify” → “Create or update contact in MapleConnect,” then enroll that contact in a sequence as the next step.

  3. 03

    Map fields and test

Map email, name, phone, order value, line items, and tags. Turn the Zap on, place a test order, and confirm the contact and follow-up sequence fire correctly.

  4. 04

Or use the REST API (builders)

Prefer code? Use the MapleConnect REST API with Shopify webhooks and the Admin API directly for custom, higher-volume, or two-way sync logic.

You connect Shopify through Zapier using MapleConnect’s Zapier app, or through the MapleConnect REST API for custom setups. Pick a trigger (like a new order), map the fields, and turn it on — it takes minutes.
No. MapleConnect connects to Shopify via Zapier or the REST API, not as a native, built-in app. The upside is flexibility — you can wire up exactly the orders, customers, and cart events you care about.
Not really. Shopify stores customers and orders with basic customer management, but it lacks segmentation, a sales pipeline, and automated multi-channel follow-up. MapleConnect adds those on top of your store.
Yes. When Shopify reports an abandoned checkout, MapleConnect can trigger a timed SMS and email recovery sequence. Availability of cart events depends on your Shopify plan and what’s exposed through Zapier.
Typically customers (name, email, phone), orders and order value, and tags — flowing from Shopify into the matching MapleConnect contact so your follow-up and segments stay accurate.
MapleConnect pricing is flat — Free, Essential $199, Professional $299, and Premium $399. A paid Zapier plan may be needed for higher task volume; the REST API path has no Zapier requirement.
